Since 1995, the Nellie Thompson- Dorothy Patch Scholarship Fund has awarded scholarships to Salem, Oregon's ethnic minority students so they can continue their education after high school. With help from people like you, we have been able to award scholarships to nearly 400 worthy students.
We focus on students who have shown promise through their efforts to overcome adversity and major hardships in their lives. They are resilient. They are passionate. They are driven to serve others. And they know education is the key to their future. A Thompson-Patch scholarship provides not only students’ economic relief -- but most importantly a boost of confidence to pursue their educational goals. Our Mission
The Thompson-Patch Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance to underrepresented students of color in the Salem-area to support their pursuit of college or trade school. Since 1995, the Fund has assisted hundreds of students who have faced obstacles in their lives and who have shown promise and resilience by overcoming adversity.
We are a 501(c)(3) Non-profit Organization
100% of your donations will go to provide qualifying students of color with scholarships paid towards their expenses.
